bookofjoe has technical issues — posts to be odd-looking/irregular/nonexistent for the indefinite future

HeadBanginghhgg

Long story short: TypePad last evening suddenly converted to a new publishing system — with zero notice or warning — that's incompatible with Mac OS 10.3.9, my long-time workhorse.

You need 10.4 or 10.5 for things to work properly from now on.

While I figure out what to do, posts will decrease in frequency and be bizarre in appearance and function, with non-working links, etc.

Mos def not a TechnoDolt™-friendly move by TypePad, fer shur.

Feh.

Oh, I don't know, maybe this could lend an air of mystery, maybe give a small frisson of daring risk to those who boldly go where no outcome is guaranteed, kind of thing -- "bookofjoe and The Chamber of Confusion"!

Sorry to hear it caught up to you too. I had to upgrade to 10.5 to keep up with second party software. Unfortunately, Apple tends to abandon its children. If your 'puter is over two years old you were on borrowed time anyway. Hopefully, once you get up and running again you will like the new way of working.

ps All I know about PCs can be summed up in one sentence. "You go to start to turn it off." That was enough for me.
