No matter what you call it -it will still be used after dinner as a disc to play dinner plate holder frisbee golf- after that it will be used as a way to extract juise from an orange to quench thirst but then the same will be that thing that cut little johnny's hand from the clips that hold the plates in place.

I need to order a bunch of these - they are inexplicably not available anywhere, I suppose a victim of improved paper plates. I'll check back tomorrow.

Yes, a paper plate holder. Made so that the flimsiest of paper plates can be deemed appropriate for a family gathering. "See? I don't want to use real plates but I like you enough to use a plastic p.o.s. to hold the cheap-ass paper plate for dinner."
